Full disclosure, I have the very old original “hockey puck” style echo, no longer in production. (can you tell I hold onto my things?) I'm happy with it so I can only imagine how much better this latest model is. As a solo home dweller, this is so he... and on and on and on. I especially like the routines where you can schedule lights on / off while you're away - super helpful. This is kind of a no brainer. BTW, my hockey puck is about 10 year old. :)
