Books I love that are VERY underrated. Mostly young adult fiction! All books on this list would be good for middle school and up!

Only uploading my favorites from each series (unless they're short), but I also have links to some box sets!!
SO AMAZING. Really underrated. You can disregard the movie LOL. Plays with the text on the page in such a unique way.
The Knife of Never Letting Go (Reissue with bonus short story ...
Imho this is the best one in the series. Everytime I read it it makes me sick (in a good way).
The Ask and the Answer
I forgot this title momentarily and I was just like 'I am the circle and the circle is me' book. IYKYK.
Monsters of Men
The pendragon books are SOOOO GOOD. I read them while they were releasing and let's just say I SOBBED at the last one. I will add my faves to this list but they're all great. Boy goes to different worlds to fight evil.
The Merchant of Death (Pendragon Series #1)|Paperback
One of the best Pendragon books. What if... the world was water and there was a very charming guy who really reminds me of Finnick from The Hunger Games? Find out in this book.
The Lost City of Faar (Pendragon Series #2)
Another of the best Pendragon books. Welcome to a world where everyone would rather live in virtual reality than real life. Very compelling characters in this one.
The Reality Bug (Pendragon Series #4)
Another of the best Pendragon books! I love books where they make you play an evil game LOL. This one hits a little close to home though because a corporation basically controls society… yikes.
The Quillan Games (Pendragon Series #7)
Get ALL of the Pendragon books!! There are TEN!! A good deal on all of them if you'd like to read the whole series!
Pendragon Complete Collection (Boxed Set): The Merchant of Death; The Lost City of Faar; The Never War; The Reality Bug; Black Water; The Rivers of Zadaa; The Quillan Games; The Pilgrims of Rayne; Raven Rise; The Soldiers of Halla
I read the Hunger Games series before the movie even came out! The movies are great but the books have even more amazing details. I highly recomend you read them if you haven't!!!
The Hunger Games (Hunger Games Series #1)
This is my favorite book in the Hunger Games series! I love all of the character details in this book and the arena is VERY interesting.
Catching Fire (Hunger Games Series #2)
A boxed set of Hunger Games books, including the 4th book which is about the history of the Hunger Games and President Snow when he was a student!
The Hunger Games 4-Book Paperback Box Set (The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay, the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes)
Another book about getting stuck in a loop of the same day! This one is very good, especially if you're close in age to the characters. There are other books in this series that focus on different characters!
11 Birthdays (Willow Falls Series #1)
SUCH an interesting book. The concept is that the moon gets knocked closer towards the Earth, and you watch how that impacts people in strange and awful ways. It definitely makes me sad but it also is an inspiring story about human resillience!
Life As We Knew It (Life As We Knew It Series #1)
The full Life As We Knew It series! Different books have different narrators and explore the concept from different locations around the world.
The Life as We Knew It 4-Book Collection
I really enjoyed this series! I'm just linking to book one here, but there are a lot! It's science fiction about a group of the smartest children/teens being sent into space to find new life on another planet due to the Earth dying. The books cover t...
Comet's Curse: Galahad Series Book 1
Standalone Books
THIS BOOK IS SOOOO GOOD. Children get stranded on an island and used in experiments. If you want to be in the mind of a stingray you can read this book.
Dr. Franklin's Island
This book is so crazy. I really liked it when I was younger, it was one of my favorites!! It's basically about a girl who gets stuck in a virtual reality medieval simulation and has to survive the day, because she gets reset to the beginning whenever...
Heir Apparent
I strongly believe that everyone should read this book once in their life. It really challenges the way you think about things! A boy named Milo ends up in a strange world after passing through a toy tollboth. He meets some really strange and funny c...
