Dogs are allowed on the Pacific Creat Trail portion of the loop but NOT within Mount Rainier NP. Consult a map to be sure you’re hiking in the right area.
Naches Peak Loop Trailhead
Moderate hike on an old logging road to a scenic waterfall. Stop by Otter Falls for a nice swim to cool off. Very dog friendly with wide trails to pass other furry friends.
Big Creek Falls
Perfect hike for any season! Easy terrain, forest cover, and beautiful waterfall. Great for beginners or the seasoned adventurer!
Franklin Falls
A PNW classic! But be prepared for crowds.
Rattlesnake Ledge
Easy waterfall hike that’s perfect year round
Twin Falls
A hike with a view and can reward by taking a swim in the creek!
Dirty Harry's Balcony
Very easy, flat hike until you hit the trails for the waterfalls. Our dog loved being able to take a swim!
