i struggled with acne and texture for so many years until i started using these products, and most are under 20$ (obviously research these on your own and find out what’s good/safe for you)

cleansers
literally wow, once i started using this my closed comedones started clearing in just weeks
Acne Foaming Cream Wash | 10% Benzoyl Peroxide
helped so much with my whiteheads that i thought would never go away
Acne Control Cleanser | Salicylic Acid Treatment
everyone needs a cleansing oil and this one feels so light, using this for oil gritting really helped remove my skin from excessive oil (as an oily girl)
Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil
toners
not only did this help clear my closed comedones over time but it also helped fade my acne scars
SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
a staple toner that feels refreshing, smells good (at least in my opinion), helps with hyperpigmentation, and makes pores look smaller
Thayers: Facial Toners & Witch Hazel Skincare
fast working exfoliant that should be used sparingly, this basically eradicated the bumps i’d get on my forehead, its very strong though and should be used cautiously
Lactic Acid 10% + HA: High-Strength Exfoliator for Dry Skin
not only does this brighten dark areas, it helped with acne, and i even used this under my deodorant (glycolic acid kills bacteria and hence stops bo)
Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner
body washes
i also struggled with acne around my thighs and upper arms and no joke, this creamy wash genuinely helped so much, i saw results in less than a week
PanOxyl Antimicrobial Acne Creamy Wash 4%
this might seem like a weird recommendation, but head and shoulders really helped my body acne as well due to its zinc (used to target dandruff) that’s also antibacterial/anti-inflammatory
Classic Clean Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for Daily Use, Paraben Free
serums
this serum is not pricey and shows results, it helped both my blemishes and my acne (yet not much of my hyperpigmentation)
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum
genuinely helped clear my hyperpigmentation (does make you break out first as do most acne clearing products) but it should be used sparingly as using it too much and often can damage your skin barrier
Resurfacing Retinol Serum | Post-Acne Marks Treatment
great for further in your retinol journey, it’s very strong (stronger than other known retinols like cerave’s) but extremelyyy effective like my acne scars genuinely disappeared
High-Strength Retinol 1% in Squalane for Fine Lines & Texture
