FET-FISK restaurant + bar
Another top restaurant for me! I have not had the chance to try their summer menu but the food is fantastic. The service and vibe is quite intimate so it is perfect for a catch up dinner with friends.

Poulet Bleu
I am not a big fan of soup dumplings, however this place has so many dishes to accommodate all palates. Great cocktails and awesome appetizers as well if you want to go for small bites!
The Parlor Dim Sum
Urban rat! Besides that the cocktails here are phenomenal and the do trivia about once a week. I love their version of aviation.

I know this is a chain, but their fall menu needs to be studied. I go at least once a year for an apple cider margarita and gobblerito.
Mad Mex Shadyside
One of my favorite casual dining spots in the city. So many options for ramen but also have udon and traditional dishes. I always opt for the seafood ramen with spicy miso base!

The best coffee shop(to me) in the city. The seasonal specials are always so creative and delicious. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger cup size!
Grim Wizard Coffee
This cart sometimes comes to my office during the week and it’s always a nice pick me up. I do wish they changed the menu more frequently but they do have fun specials for every season and they cover a wide range of the Pittsburgh area!

I am always in awe when I walk into this theater. I hope they never remodel. I am an AMC stubs member so I always opt for this theater since they redid some of the theaters for IMAX.
