My favorite restaurant in the city. $$$. Must get: mussels with focaccia, cosmopolitan, and grilled cabbage Cesar salad.
FET-FISK restaurant + bar
Another top restaurant for me! I have not had the chance to try their summer menu but the food is fantastic. The service and vibe is quite intimate so it is perfect for a catch up dinner with friends.

I am not a big fan of soup dumplings, however this place has so many dishes to accommodate all palates. Great cocktails and awesome appetizers as well if you want to go for small bites!
The Parlor Dim Sum
Urban rat! Besides that the cocktails here are phenomenal and the do trivia about once a week. I love their version of aviation.

I know this is a chain, but their fall menu needs to be studied. I go at least once a year for an apple cider margarita and gobblerito.

One of my favorite casual dining spots in the city. So many options for ramen but also have udon and traditional dishes. I always opt for the seafood ramen with spicy miso base!

Lin's Asian Fusion
I am not kidding this is one of the best places in Pittsburgh. Authentic cuisine, super affordable and open super late. Great to get after the bar or for some couch takeout.
La Bodega Taqueria
The home of the large a$$ slice. I will eat one to myself almost every weekend though because it’s the perfect greasy after bar food. Definitely a locals spot.

The best coffee shop(to me) in the city. The seasonal specials are always so creative and delicious. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger cup size!
Grim Wizard Coffee
This cart sometimes comes to my office during the week and it’s always a nice pick me up. I do wish they changed the menu more frequently but they do have fun specials for every season and they cover a wide range of the Pittsburgh area!
The Roaming Bean
I don’t frequent here as often but the special strawberry matcha they have in the spring/summer is absolutely divine. I don’t know what they do to it but I could have multiple.

Coincidently down the block from my boyfriend’s apartment. If you like strong coffee this would be the place for you! The flavors can lack but the coffee itself is pretty good. It’s roasted in house.

I am always in awe when I walk into this theater. I hope they never remodel. I am an AMC stubs member so I always opt for this theater since they redid some of the theaters for IMAX.
AMC Waterfront 22
The only actual “club” atmosphere in Pittsburgh. Go go dancers, bottle girls, the whole nine yards. Pretty good music and fairly priced drinks. Check the dress code before you go

You either love it or hate it and I love it. 3 rooms with totally different vibes, fairly priced drinks, and pretty busy over the weekend.
Pittsburgh Home - Tequila Cowboy
Quite possibly my favorite bar in the city. Kitschy, dark and dirty with good themed cocktails. $3 well drinks from 9-11 on weekends, karoke, and industry nights as well.
Tiki Lounge
One of the better bars open recently. Decent prices, patio out back, and the music is usually pretty good. It’s very millenial coded or Gen Alpha and there’s not really an in between.

Another great weekend outing. Same as TC, you either love it or hate it. Really nice in the summer after a pirates game especially.
