This story of Batman’s back being broken by Bane was another great story for me - leading to Jean Paul Valley (Azrael) becoming Batman (for a bit)

This storyline - Jean Paul Valley taking over as Batman really upset me when it first came out - how could they do that to Bruce? But I ended up liking Azrael as Batman - even though he was much more untrlenting

The Batman TV Show was a little before my time, but the campy corny portrayal of Batman by Adam West holds a place in lots of people’s hearts. I’ve seen many episodes over the years! ZAP!
The show was corny - but it’s fun to go back and watch what Adam West did as Batman. He did the campy corny version - but you gotta love it
