They no longer sell the exact same one we had, but this is the closest. The best part is that it transitions with them from crib to toddler bed to full sized bed.
Graco Solano 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Drawer - Walmart.ca
We had two of these for the early days. One for our bedroom and one for the living room so that we had somewhere safe for her to sleep wherever we were. They fold really small.
Graco DreamMore Bedside Bassinet
Despite what social media will have you believe, you do not need a fancy crib mattress. This one is nice because it is double sided. IT has a firmer side which is safer for infants and a softer side for toddlers.
We had an older version of this that got a lot of use. It is still being used in my nephews room five years later and is in perfect condition.
Dream On Me Chatham Swivel Glider, Recliner - Walmart.ca
We had many of these. They are OEKO-TEX certified, 100% organic cotton. They come in tons of colours and patterns. They also come in both jersey and flannel options.
George Baby Organic Cotton Single Pack Crib Sheet - Walmart.ca
100% organic cotton and available in many different colours and patterns. Very affordable too.
George Baby Organic Cotton Bassinet Sheet
This was gifted to us and I'm so glad that it was. My 5-year-old still sleeps with the white noise and little dot lights on every night! We've brought it with us to every place we've travelled.
Fisher-Price Smart Connect Deluxe Soother
We had an older version that didn't have the colours. It was so nice to be able to have a dim light on. It did eventually die on us but only after 4.5 years of daily use.
JolyWell Night Light for Kids with Color Changing Mode & Dimming Function, Rechargeable Baby Egg Night Light with 1 Hour Timer&Touch Control, up to 100H, White
We wanted a monitor that didn't connect to WIFI. They no longer sell the exact version that we have but this thing has been used extensively, dropped and chewed on and still works well. It is still in use by a family member. I would absolutely purcha...
HelloBaby HB6256 5.0" LCD Video Baby Monitor with Remote Pan-Tilt-Zoom, 1000ft Range, Night Vision, Lullabies & Two-Way Audio, No WiFi
I had these on the mattress from birth until she aged out of the toddler bed.
Simmons Quilted Baby Crib Mattress Protector
Play
This is super cute and held up well. It's one of the things I've saved “just-in-case”.
Bright Starts Disney Baby FINDING NEMO Mr. Ray Ocean Lights & Music Gym
These Oballs are one of the first things a baby can grasp.
Bright Starts Oball Grasp the Day Toy Gift Set
My daughter liked to look at this during tummy time. It lights up and plays music. She still pulls it out to play with occaisionally.

Fisher-Price Learn With Me Purple Monkey Walker Baby Learning Toy with Music & Lights
A classic. We had the “large” one.
Fisher-Price Rock-a-Stack Ring Stacking Toy for Infants, Made with Plant-Based Materials
This got a lot of use in the early days
Disney Minnie Mouse Soft Book
Really cute and so many different textures for the baby to explore. We had the unicorn but it comes in so many different animals.

Transportation
I really loved the flat “basinet” portion. I didn't want my daughter in the upright carseat position for any longer than I had to, but it was handy to be able to just attach the car seat quickly when running into a store or something.
Graco Modes Trio Travel System, 3-in-1 Baby Stroller and Car Seat Combo, Rear-Facing from 1.8-16 kg (4-35 lb)
This can be used right from birth all the way through to older childhood. It converts from rearfacing infant seat to front facing with a harness to high back booster to backless bosster. It is literally the only carseat you need to buy. I did use a t...

Feeding
We had the fancier ones but these got the most use by far. I'm not sure why really but we defaulted to these and she seemed to take them the best. This was common among my friends and family members who had babies at the same time as us.
First Essentials by NUK™ Clear View® Bottle, 3x5oz Bottles, Slow Flow
So much nicer to lay baby on this than directly on the plastic mat. Easy to take off and throw in the laundry.
George Baby Change Pad Cover - Walmart.ca
Because you probably don't want to lay your baby directly on a change table in a public washroom.
Pronto Signature Changing Station | Carter’s Oshkosh Canada
I always kept this in my diaper bag for dirty clothes, wet bathing suits, etc.

Clothing
You really don't need much in terms of clothing. I stuck to what was practical but still cute.
These were our most used pjs in the early days. I loved the double zip and the mitten cuffs.
2-Way-Zip Sleep & Play Footed One-Piece 3-Pack for Baby | Old Navy
We had tons of these Carter's onesies. They are very affordable and OEKO-TEX certified 100% cotton. They come in just about every colour and pattern imaginable. They always have really good sales and their clearance section is awesome.
It always nice when an outfit only requires putting on one item. Especially for a squirmy baby. They have buttons on the inside of the legs for easy changes. They come in many configurations (long sleeve, short sleeve, shorts) and a lot of different ...
