I always start with something lightweight and fitted underneath so I’m comfortable if the plane gets warm, but I can easily layer over it when it inevitably gets freezing

Nothing stiff or restrictive on a flight. These are the bottoms that give me room to move and sit comfortably without looking like I rolled out of bed.

Planes are either freezing or weirdly warm, so a removable layer is non-negotiable. Bonus points if it doubles as a blanket

Comfortable enough for terminals, security, connections, and walking around after landing — but still cute with the outfit. I always look for shoes that are easy to walk in and won’t have me regretting my choice halfway through the travel day.

The little things that make a basic travel outfit feel intentional while also making the actual travel day easier. A hat, cozy socks, or a fun scarf can completely change a simple tee-and-sweats airport look.

For the days I do not want to think about an outfit at 5 a.m. A matching set makes me look instantly put together with basically zero effort
