The Old Country Store and Museum
This is a great way to see Mt. Washington, especially in a group. Make sure you bring proper weather gear of course, the top and the bottom of the mountain are not the same. Def worth the adventure, if only for the history that’s told along the way.

This is a beautiful fresh water lake with a great town beach with bathrooms and more. Nice sandy bottom. Plenty of room for everyone! Bring your boat! It’s the perfect lake for boating and water skiing.

If you want homemade ice cream there are many in the general area but Lone Oak is the best for a reason. Go there! Wait in line. You won’t be sorry.

OMG. This is the best taco place around, hands down. Interior is a feast for the eyes, limited outdoor seating. I highly recommend the chef taco La Tierra. I am drooling just thinking about it.

This is neat trail out to ruins of the old quarry. There is a lot of old equipment like steam engines, an old utility building and more! Pretty cool!
Redstone Quarry Trailhead
This is a cool tower giving you a great view of downtown Dover and beyond. Dover is beautiful from any point but this is one of my favorites.
Garrison Hill Tower
This is a great hike for families and dogs alike. There are great views and plenty of room for everyone. Don’t let a full lot turn you off, you may never even see another person at the top.
Blue Job Mountain
One of the last old hotels standing and now it has been expanded and refurbished. There are still some original rooms you can ask for! Some say they are haunted but I just had a nice stay!
Wentworth By The Sea
This is the best pizza in NH in my opinion. They have been around for some time now and still put out the best wood fired pizza around. Soooo good!
JJ's Woodfired Tavern
This a fantastic place to spend the afternoon. Best time is in the spring or the fall so you can see the foundations more clearly. Bring lunch and sit by the river, it’s beautiful in there!
Old Hill Village Access
This is the best road to go on in the fall. There is hardly any traffic and plenty of little scenic areas along the river. Don’t miss it if you are on the Kanc or the Conway side!
