The first book in a small-town crime series. This one caught my attention quickly and kept me reading late into the night!

The first book in the “Department Q” series. I'll admit I read this only because I'd just binged the Netflix series, but I ended up liking the book even more than the series (which I loved) and planning to read more installments in the series!
The Keeper of Lost Causes (Department Q, #1) by Jussi Adler-Olsen

This book surprised me. Wasn't sure I was down with the writing style, but it turned out to be the best way to explain the premise, and plot. Highly recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book, by an author with which I was unfamiliar. Satisfying ending.

Wow. Engrossing true story of an unfortunate upbringing and a woman's realization that all was not as she'd always believed it to be in her family. Gripping.

Love Robert Dugoni, especially his Tracy Crosswhite series. This is the 11th installment in that series, and one I had long awaited. It did not disappoint.

I love Baldacci but was a bit reluctant to start this novel, which was different than his normal mystery format. So glad I gave it a shot! Very different from his usual fare.

Love Michael Lister, and I've recently gotten into his Burke and Blade books (although his John Jordan series remains my ultimate fav). This is the 8th installment in the Burke and Blade series and was unputdownable!

I'll admit, I was reluctant to read Vindicate, after the death of Scott Pratt. I must say, however, that J.D. Pratt continues the Dillard series admirably with his son, Jack.
