It has been known that hiking in Cape Town can be dangerous, so please make sure to go with a local person & don't hike alone as a female. Great beach to watch surfers or to get away from the crowds near Sea Point / Clifton! A 30ish minute drive from Sea Point, but definitely worth it for an amazing beach day
Llandudno Beach
An absolutely BEAUTIFUL beach outside of Cape Town with some of the best views of the mountains behind the beach. You can see baboons all around the area and there are beautiful caves to explore! Great for a relaxing beach day outside the city
Kogel Bay Beach
This is THE beach to go to if you want to see Cape Town's largest penguin colony!! Less than an hour drive from the city, Boulder's Beach is the perfect day trip away. You can spend an entire beach day here or even swim with the penguins!!!
