Hidden Gem of Berkeley for hikes. Dog friendly and picnic areas. 40 mi of trails if you are on your fitness journey this is the spot.
Charles Lee Tilden Regional Park
Beautiful beach and dog friendly. This is the only beach I go to now. You wanna bonfire and roast s’mores??
Sumner & Dolphin Beach (Beer Can Beach) in Rio Del Mar

Regional Parks Botanic Garden
241 Acres of fresh air and beautiful views. Kid friendly and there are signs and educational posts along the trails that identify and explain the plants and trees in the area.
Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve
Has several different activities for family fun and don’t forget to get your hot chocolate.

Best Thai curry of all of Oakland. Even when you are full you don’t want to stop eating.

Best Korea fried chicken. Better than any wing joint.
Bonchon San Leandro
Best Iced Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and donuts in San Leandro. One of my favorite hidden gems. They are sooo nice

Great sushi spot in SF. Your food comes out on a boat shaped like a rocket via conveyor belt.

Very cool place to take the family. They even have nightlife events for adults
California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA
They always have events to go see Alcatraz. A ferry will take you there. There’s a small museum inside too.
Alcatraz Island
Huge boat and you’re not crowded. Great scenery, music and vibes. Definitely an activity for date night.
