Make sure to wash it first! As it will shrink (we learnt the hard way 😂). We cut them into 20cm x 20 cm squares with a 1.5cm seam allowance

We used this to mark the seam line so everyone knew the boundaries of their canvas

Fabric pens for people to draw and write on the calico. So far it's lasted well and the colour is bright!

We used these to trace onto the fabric scraps to make iron on shapes. We also used them to draw straight onto the squares.

We also used basic colouring in books to trace shapes onto baking paper. We then cut it out, and pinned to fabric and iron on paper to create custom iron on shapes.
