If you're overwhelmed by the thought of packing for an international trip, don't be! I'm an over packer but after a week aboard, these are the items that were indispensable and essential to my trip!
Bags

This was a great carryon for international travel and fit great on top of my suitcase.
I've had this backpack for years and loved it. For Italy, it was perfect! It's stylish and doesn't ruin a cute outfit plus, the anti-theft was AMAZING!
I loved this purse for when we were wandering around. The zippers clip to tiny rings so no one can unzip it without you knowing.
Clothes
Comfortable clothes are a must for travel!
These pants are so comfortable and come in a ton of color options!
To avoid problems from the long flights, I threw these compression socks in my carry on. They worked great!

These sneakers were the perfect walking shoe for Italy. I wore them all day and my feet were comfortable and only a little tired at the end of the day. The cork insole is very comfortable but also removeable if you want to add something different.
On days when I wanted no show socks, these were my go to. Very comfortable and didn't fall off my heel.
I'm obsessed with these sweatshirts from Walmart. They're comfortable and so affordable! Plus, they're perfect for layering!
I love this ribbed tunic. I brought a black and a green one and wore them with leggings and jeans. They're tiny enough to not take up a lot of space in your suitcase, but also warm!
This jogger set was so comfortable on the long flight!
Toiletry Items
Space-saving toiletries
This pill organizer is perfect for all of my daily medicines and supplements.
After some research, I learned that wash clothes are not always available in hotel rooms. These compact wash clothes were easy pack and worked great!
These worked perfect for my body lotion and face lotion. The lid stayed on nice and tight and never spilled!
This kit was the perfect amount of shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, etc. I loved the stickers that came with so I could label each container.
Don't travel with your big perfume bottles! Use these travel atomizers for the perfect amount of perfume on your trip.
I put these in my carry-on to brush my teeth in the morning after a long overnight flight. I also put them in my backpack for emergencies.
Band-aids are a MUST! We used them the first night we were there. Great for blisters or scrapes.
Airplanes dry my skin out so I got these face masks for my friends and I to use on the plane. They worked great!
Misc.
These compression packing cubes are inexpensive and saved me so much space in my checked bag!
This umbrella fit nicely inside my checked bag for those super rainy days.
These are perfect if you buy wine or other items and need them protected in your luggage.
Electronics
Electronics that made things easier without overpacking.
Between the long flight and being out and about all day, I knew I would need a good power bank. These are compact, not too heavy, and worked perfectly!
This plug adapter was perfect! It has USB and regular plug so you can charge or plug in a lot of different things at once.
If you have an iPhone, I highly recommend air tags. I put one in my checked bag and was able to verify where my luggage was (on my plane or a different one haha).
