items Here is a list of places my family visited this summer with friends while we stayed in Tennessee. We drove from NJ to TN and we loved it and will absolutely be returning soon for a winter vacation. It was nothing short of amazing. The food, sites and people were amazing.
The best mini gold and mountain coaster place. There is so much to see while mini golfing with the family and especially at night when the mountain coaster is lit up!

One of the best water parks we have been too. Super clean and friendly staff. They had great rides with a huge wave pool. They also serve up some great food.
Dollywood's Splash Country
Rafting on a hot day is so much fun. River Rats has two courses with different levels. We enjoyed both courses and their food trucks!

Ride to the top of Anakeesta and take in a beautiful dinner. The views are breathtaking. Spend an evening or the whole days taking in the town.

There are many dinner shows in town but this was seemed like a classic. Paula Deen's food is great and plentiful. The show was fun and the kids really enjoyed it.

We took this tour through the Smoky Mountains and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and taught us so much about Pigeon Forge and the National Park. We got beautiful photos and even saw a wedding in the mountains.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park
See some of the oldest caverns in Tennessee. We had a great tour guide who walked us through hundreds of years of history. Very cool and it is run by the original family who found the caves.
Tuckaleechee Caverns Townsend TN
We got up at sunrise to see so much wildlife. Driving through Cades Cove you are sure to see a TON! from grave years to BEARS this is such a fun place to visit with the family!

We tried this distillery and was amazed. They had a nice tasting and amazing flavors. Apple was the big hit in our group.

By far the best coffee shop in the area. Townsend Coffee serves up delicious coffees and great quick breakfast treats.

THE BEST STOP on our drive. Buc-cees is nothing short of amazing. They have everything you can think of. From home decor, pajamas to the best BBQ! It such a fun stop for the whole family.

Since mountain coasters are so popular in TN we decided to try another coaster and this one was just as great as the first. We decided to go at night again when it was a lighted track and it was so much fun!

The was fun! So many unique shops from t shirts to soaps- the cute downtown area will keep everyone busy for a day/evening.
