For my feet
Comfort and safety are the most important to me when hiking and these are all my favorite hiking shoes and socks that keep me comfortable and safe.

Clothing
Staying comfortable and cool is a top priority for me for an enjoyable hiking experience. These are my go-to clothing items for a day of hiking.

I like to have multiple colors of the same shirts. These Merino wool ones are great.
Polyester shirts are so great for keeping you cool and dry while hiking. Wear a light color to keep even cooler.
Pants with pockets are a must!

Accessories

Sun protection is important. I love these ball-cap style hats so I can put my hair through the back in a pony tail.
A fanny pack is great to keep items in easy reach, like ChapStick or sunscreen.
This is a great day pack hiking backpack. It is compact and light weight but can carry a lot of things.
This may seem impractical but I love ice cold water when hiking. This is a large insulated cup that I use and love.
Hiking poles are great, especially for someone like me who isn't super coordinated.
Extras

We always bring this paid or binoculars with us on our adventures. They're so nice and add a little extra fun to our hiking trips.
