Avoid turpentine! Use mineral spirit paint thinners instead. Your first layers should be mixed with thinner, and then you'll want to switch to a medium (next slide!)

Galkyd is my preferred medium as its faster drying, smoother, and yellows less than linseed oil, but linseed is a good traditional option too

Any lint free towels will do. Never leave oil rags bunched up, they can combust! Always leave oil rags flat to dry.

Full transparency I don't use gloves or a respirator BUT you may wish to. Good ventilation is key 🔑 and never using terps, its not necessary nowadays. (I do use gloves when transferring/cleaning Gamsol)
