Here are some spots to go for breakfast/brunch.
This is a cute restaurant and a great spot for breakfast. It's very small, so you want to get there very early. I was also told the lines can be immensely long on weekends! (We went on a weekday.) I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan banana nut pancakes!
Breakfast by Salt's Cure
This is a vegan bakery that we stumbled upon. They offer seating but it's more like grab and go type food. They have an all day menu with a variety of foods and a dinner menu as well. We go there for their baked goods…I absolutely love their vegan banana bread!

This restaurant has a beautiful scenery and vibe. We ate inside, but it's a great spot for pictures.

If you like cozy, charming restaurants, then try Sarabeth's. They do have a unique menu that I wouldn't say is for everyone, so check it out before going.

You go to this restaurant mainly for the vibe and atmosphere. It's another rooftop restaurant. Be sure to have your ID even if you aren't drinking alcohol because the bouncer may not let you upstairs to the roof where the restaurant is.

This was an absolutely wonderful restaurant to go to…it's a nice vibe and the food is delicious. When we went, the staff was extremely nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! I'd highly recommend you go there for good comfort southern foods.

Jacob's Pickles is another popular restaurant and they're known for their biscuit sandwiches. You can go here for breakfast or dinner and find some great choices. I will warn that it's a smaller restaurant (the Upper West Side location) on the inside, so I'd highly suggest you put in a reservation before going.
