Sci-Fi, an intergalactic war for the retired. Interesting premise with great pacing.
Old Man's War (Old Man's War, 1) by Scalzi
Sci-Fi, all the books keep you entertained and wanting to know more. A lot of interesting science without getting too in the weeds.
Bobiverse Series by Dennis E. Taylor
This Sci-Fi book takes the idea of Star Trek and truly makes it its own. Hilarious premise with some amazing twists that keep you reading.
Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas: Scalzi, John
This Sci-Fi book is a slow burn. I went into it blind and I would recommend you do the same thing.
It’s such a strange premise and a lot of fun when you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into.
Children of Time (Children of Time, 1)
Amazing Sci-Fi book that is way better than the movie ever will be. This book is great as a standalone without having to read the rest of the series. Seriously, just stop after this one.

Another book that is way better than the movie ever could be.
This is a coming of age story with some really unique concepts and a lot of 80’s references.
