This made it to my recommendations because I really find time travel interesting. It deals with everyday normal people and is like a puzzle to fix the future.
Watch STEINS;GATE
This story is cool nice 90's animation (do not watch the new one youve been warned). I liked the soldier knights in the army story but this was messed up the ending was never expected Gats got done dirty trust me (not a spoiler just reality).
Watch Berserk
I loved this show because it was so raw. This show is not for the weak I promise you but its my favorite recommendation for people who have never seen any anime before. Assassins vs the corrupt government.
Akame ga Kill! (TV Series 2014)
These 12 episodes were literally if suicide squad made an anime the quickest one on the list and story development was pretty quick making it a fast paced show.

It was cool seeing a darker version of something similar to maze runner. Haven't seen the second season just keeping it real great 1st season though

I know this part is supposed to be about the list but AOT is the best anime of all time. I also argue it is the best TV show of all time but anyway…these shows are some heavy hitters
Greatest show of all time doesn’t matter genre that’s all I can say go watch it season 1 and 2 might seem a bit slow but season 4 is worth it.
Attack on Titan (TV Series 2013–2023)
I honestly don't even know why I liked this one as much as I do but super solid. Clean animation overpowered characters can't wait till they finish it.

One Piece and Naruto should only be watched if you can commit to a long long journey. HunterXHunter is not as lengthy definitely worth the watch. However if you want to root for a hero's journey and get attached to growth these will inspire.
