When you are a mom to littles, you've got to have a good list of playgrounds in your back pocket. These are mine and my kids favorites!
One of our favorites! Great view of the lake, but it can get a bit windy so bring a jacket 😃 My two younger kids love the slides and swings while my oldest like to ride his bike or scooter on all the paths. Great hills for sledding in the winter!
Mallard Park - City of Caldwell
The Chicken Park 🤣 For the longest time I didn't know the name of this park because my kids just call it the chicken park and it's their FAVORITE! So many things to do! Basketball courts, Pickleball courts, baseball fields, large covered picnic area...
Midway Park
Great place for an outing with the family! Playground for the kids, walking paths, and lots of trees to climb. This would be a great place for family photos!

We love to go on outdoor adventures. Here are our favorites with activities and hikes that are littles approved.
Great place to go for a nature walk! Walking path around the lake is 1 mile and easy to do with the kiddos. Park also offers picnic tables, fishing, and an archery range.
Rotary Pond Park · Caldwell, Idaho
Beautiful spot for a nature walk and spotting some animals. This historic single lane bridge is a popular spot for fishing, swimming, and hiking.
Red Train Bridge · Caldwell, Idaho
Great place for a picnic or some family photos! Summer swimming with lifeguards, picnic and BBQ areas, and a cute trail.
Lake Lowell Park · Nampa, Idaho
Awesome place to visit no matter the time of year! Lots of trails for walking and biking in good weather. Definitely check out the bird watching blind. Really great visitor center for days when it's cold out!
Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge · Nampa, Idaho
Fun pirate ship play structure for the littles, another structure for the bigger kids, skate park, and BMX pump track.
Municipal Park · Caldwell, ID
Great place for a nature walk. My kids love seeing all the wildlife. Ponds are stocked with fish, different species for each pond depending on what you want to catch.

Great place for an outing with the family! Playground for the kids, walking paths, and lots of trees to climb. This would be a great place for family photos!

A family favorite especially in nice weather so we can eat out on the patio. Outdoor seating offers a view of Indian Creek, people watching along the path, and ducks to spot.
