A solid entry-level trench if you're not sure you want to commit to the investment piece yet. The concealed buttons give it a cleaner look, and the oversized fit feels modern without drowning you. For under $150, it's hard to argue with.

This one stopped me in my tracks with it's take on adjustable cuffs — I love the bow at the wrist in relationship with the high waist and A-line silhouette.
Refined Sateen Trench Coat
The tartan lining on this one is such a nice detail — you catch glimpses of it at the collar and it feels like a little secret. Showerproof, belted, and polished enough for work but relaxed enough for the weekend.

J.Crew updated their classic raincoat with a longer length and a drawcord waist, and honestly it's a great everyday option. It has a hood that tucks away, it's lightweight, and it won't break the bank. Sometimes practical just works.

If you want a rain boot that feels a little more fashion-forward, these are it. The drawstring detail at the top is unexpected, and the logo on the side is subtle enough not to scream "designer." Italian-made, obviously.
MONCLER | Kickstream Logo Rain Boots
These are absurd and I want them anyway. Loro Piana made a rain boot with a cashmere lining — because of course they did. The leather and coated canvas look elevated, not utilitarian. A ridiculous splurge, but undeniably beautiful.

Hunter's take on a Chelsea-style rain boot, but with a chunky lug sole that can actually handle winter slush. They're surprisingly lightweight and feel sturdier than the classic tall Hunters. A good middle ground between welly and boot.

I've always loved Blundstones for their durability, and these rigger-style boots take that workwear DNA and make it a little more refined. Waxed nubuck, shock absorption in the heel, and a higher cut that looks great with wide-leg pants.

The lug sole trend isn't going anywhere, and these are some of the most comfortable I've tried. The soles are surprisingly lightweight, which makes a huge difference if you're on your feet all day. Classic silhouette with a little edge.
