Every product I use for my hair before and during the everything shower, step by step.
Start here. On a wash day, I will apply this Rosemary Oil and the organic Castor Oil (mixed together in a bottle) generously though my hair - your hair should look damp - and put it up in claw clip and leave it in for a few hours before washing out.
Mielle Organics Rosemary & Mint Hair Oil 2oz
This is my preferred Castor Oil, but I'm sure you can use any brand. I'd only recommend you'd find something organic.
Handcraft Blends Organic Castor Oil 16oz
This is the bottle I pre-mix the two oils in. If you chose to get a bottle, just make sure you get a clear one, so you can make sure it's clean when you go to reuse it or can tell when it's time to rotate to a new one.
Root Comb Oil Applicator Bottle for Hair
This is the exact claw clip I use, in case you were curious, but you can use anything you may already have! Just not a pony tail elastic — you'll thank me later.
Premium Large 4" Acetate Hair Claw - Creme
This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner set, hands down. It's very gentle, so if you have a lot of product in your hair you may need to wash twice, but my shedding and breakage have reduced SO MUCH since switching to this duo.
KRISTIN ESS Extra Gentle Shampoo & Conditioner 28oz 2-pack
I don't use this every wash day for my colored blonde hair, but ~1-2 times a month to keep the brassiness at bay between salon visits. Be sure to user AFTER the first shampoo (Kristin Ess) and BEFORE any conditioner.
Olaplex No. 4C Clarifying Shampoo for All Hair
Leave it on for 20 minutes, no less! Use it all the way to the root and don't worry about using too much. I have a ton of hair, and usually only get 3-4 wash days out of each bottle, but it's so affordable that's ok. Don't be precious with it.
ELIZAVECCA cer-100 Collagen Hair Protein 100ml
Often times I will use a comb in the shower to help work through the conditioner or leave-in treatment through my hair. This is the one I have for my shower, particularly because it's small, durable, and pliable — it can bend and doesn't make a ton of clatter when I inevitably drop it.
S1 Elegant Wide-Tooth Comb - Tortoise
Not a product for every wash day, and definitely a little indulgence, but I LOVE the feeling of my hair after a hair gloss in the salon. This product helps me acheive that same feeling at home.

How I get the blowout that will last all week.
After the big wash, I'll wrap my hair up in a towel while I do my skincare, then use it to towel dry before drying. Use whatever towel you have, just don't leave your head wet for too long!

My hair used to NEVER be able to hold a curl, not until I was introduced to this product. Once my hair is towel dried, I will work a ~quarter sized amount of this Virtue styler through my hair after emulsifying thoroughly bewtten my hands.

I have and LOVE this bottle, and keep it on hand while styling. It's helpful for when you need to re-dampen your hair (in my case, one side air-drys a little too much by the time I get to it, and I just have this ready to go nearby).

I know, I know. “Rebecca, everyone knows about the Dyson Airwrap”. I know you do, and I know they're $$$. That said, I was totally incompetent with a traditional blow dryer and round brush — my brain simply did not understand the physics of it all — and the Airwrap has been a game changer for me.
