I was (and still am) a budget mom and for my second pregnancy I definitely packed lighter - here are some items that were useful to me that you should pack momma!

the basic necessities you need momma! Pack for 3 days at least. Ask for the Tuck's and Dermablast every nurse rotation in the hospital to pack extra to take home!
ALL important documents! - photo ID, birth plan, insurance/hospital information and/or registration as needed

the hospital gives you a peri bottle but this is best for the angle

wear shoes in the shower! **pack your own crocs or water shoes** - I added a cheap pair as a reminder but I personally packed my slip on target water proof shoes I had at home

1-3 pairs of pajamas! the sets at Target are so soft and ones I definitely wore postpartum around the house - button down for easy access to breast feed!
Pajama Set
I prefer a pajama night gown and throw the robe on when you have guests! Button down for breast feeding
Pajama Nightgown
longsleeve pajama night gown is an option also because the hospitals are cold!
Long Sleeve Sleepwear
I threw this on anytime we had hospital guests or to walk the halls
Knee Length Bathrobe
