Los Angeles is an amazing food town with endless options. I will include in this list some of my favorites that I go back to over and over.

Authentic Japanese food and ambience in Studio City. Get there when they open at 5pm and order the pork katsu with curry. Mmmmm!
Daichan in Studio City
Absolutely amazing vegan Mexican food. I promise you will love it. Be sure and save room for the Tres Leches cake! You will never know it isn't loaded with milk.
Gracias Madre
A wonderful farm to table restaurant in Santa Monica. The chef sources from local farmers and puts together a tasty and diverse menu. Everything I have had there is great.
The Curious Palate
I keep returning to the place even though it is in a mall. Great food. Great service. Great ambience. Highly recommended.
Toscanova
A small Italian restaurant near Cedars-Sinai. The food and service are always great at reasonable prices. Be sure and get the soup! It is always fresh and amazing.
Locanda Veneta
I find it hard to find good Chinese food in LA for some reason. I like this one a lot. Great main course and dim sum.
Capital Seafood Restaurant - Dim Sum
One of my favorite sushi places in Los Angeles. I highly recommend the Omakase. It is a rare dining experience.
Sushi Takeda
Burgers and beer! Solid place to unwind. Order at the bar and find a table.
Laurel Tavern
Can't wait to go back! Have to try this place if you like German food. Solid and tasty.
Wirtshaus German Restaurant & Beer Garden
I had the best vegetables I have ever had in my life hands down. Can't wait to go back!
Espelette Beverly Hills
Possibly the best grilled octopus I have had anywhere. Great setting at The Grove.
La Piazza
Go for the ambience and not the food. I have always loved the Pirates ride at Disney and this restaurant is located right there in the swamp at the beginning of the ride. Magical setting!
Blue Bayou Restaurant | Disneyland Resort
I love Larchmont and these cookies are truly amazing. You have to try one. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.
Levain Bakery in Larchmont

A classic New York-style deli in the heart of the Fairfax district of LA. It is showing its age (est 1931). However, the food is amazing, and the place is a big taste of history.
Canters Deli
Another one of LA's great diners. This one opened in 1945 and is in the heart of Beverly Hills. One of my favorites for sure.
Nate 'n Al's
Be sure and check out the vegan offering. By far the best vegan pastries I have had anywhere. Is that butter?
Chaumont bakery and café
Good food, amazing views, and world-class museum. I love eating here.
Restaurant at the Getty Center
Comfort food on the beach! Get the tacos.
Paradise Cove Beach Cafe - Malibu
Great service and solid sushi in the heart of West Hollywood. A staple lunch spot for me.
