Piney River Ranch
We take pictures here every fall! The views are unbeatable with gorgeous walking trails.
Breckenridge History: Sawmill Exhibit
We use this place all the time, and there is never anyone around! Gorgeous at all times of the year!
Westminster Castle
Another recurring fall spot - we love shooting on the walking trail right next to the water!
Dillon Reservoir Recreation
This place is perfect for couples and family photography! Lots of background options! I usually come here at Christmas time for a vintage, cozy feel!
Golden History Park
Another spot off the beaten path that's worth its weight in gold. Never another human around and lots of creative options in the parking lot and on the trails!
Greenway Trail
Obviously, catching a show at the Amphitheatre is a must - but exploring the walking trails in the park gives you a lot of unique red rock backgrounds!
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
The whole town is just gorgeous! Our favorite stops are Georgetown Lake, the Post Office, and the Downtown Area!
Georgetown, Colorado
Everyone goes to Chautauqua Park in Boulder, which means it's often very crowded. This trail is located just on the other side of the main entrance and offers the same stunning views!
Baseline
If you are anywhere near the Paint Mines while in Colorado, it's a must! The backgrounds are out of this world and are often very empty, which allows for lots of unique shots!
Paint Mines Interpretive Park
We recently discovered this park about a year ago and have been obsessed with it ever since. Always so peaceful and green!
Inspiration Point Park
I may be biased about this place as it's only 10 minutes from my home, but this parking ramp offers a great upper-level area for taking urban-feeling photos!
US 36 / Broomfield Station
If you're looking for a colorful street, Colfax Ave in Denver has you covered! This little stretch has so many unique colors all in a row, and a convenient parking lot right on the corner!
Pastel Houses
If you're looking for an elaborate location with lots of background options and sweeping views, the Garden of the Gods is your place!
Garden of the Gods
They have such fun murals and are a really sweet shopping area too! So pretty in spring, with lots of flowering trees!
Northglenn Marketplace
A recurring spot for us in April every year - this spot has stunning rows of crab apple trees. Make sure to come during blooming season for the best results!
The Green (North)
Such a gorgeous place with stunning mountain views! Heads up, it's often covered in snow - so peak summer is your best option!
Guanella Pass
Another charming small park! It is right next to the highway, which makes it a convenient stop, but it can also be somewhat noisy!
Westminster Hills Park
Not only is this a gorgeous stop for photos, but we also just love coming here for a picnic or walk! Gorgeous scenery and view of Boulder!
Realization Point
This was our first time here this past year, and just wow! I'd say it's much more geared towards children for the experience, but the views make it a stunning background in Winter!
Ice Castles
If you're looking for a parking ramp in Boulder for urban vibes and mountain views - this is your spot! Right next to Pearl Street and has access to awesome murals!
