if you're picking up a hobby and decided to make homebrew wine or Mead I have quite the list here for you. I hope someone finds this helpful.
This yeast is good for making wine or champagne. you can also use it when making Mead. you generally use one packet per 1 gallon batch.
Lalvin EC-1118 Wine Yeast 10 Pack - 5g Sachets
Use one tablespoon per gallon; with the yeast pack. You add this and the yeast pack, when your liquid is mixed and ready to be put in bottles, in a cold dark place.
Yeast Nutrient - 8 oz.
For every gallon you're making, use three to four cups of sugar. The sugar is what helps it ferment and brings the alcohol percentage up. (I've placed this here for ease on your list, but it is cheaper to buy at the grocery store).
4 KG Lantic White Fine Granulated Sugar
This is a really good book if you're a specific about wanting to make Mead. These are high sugar, quick liquors you can make usually within 4 to 6 weeks.
