Can get crowded on a nice day, has great cafes nearby
Parliament Hill Viewpoint
Pro tip- don't go any higher past the entrance for Severndroog Castle for the maximum views with minimum climbing

Slightly further out than the other locations but still great to visit especially if there’s an event going on
Alexandra Palace
This one has a restaurant at the top so not completely free. Summer is buzzing and winter is great for a bird's eye view of the Christmas lights below
Oxford Street Roof Garden
Really underrated spot to just sit and chill in the summer. The views aren't as great as some of the others but the central location and fewer crowds definitely make up for that. Plenty of great places to eat nearby
The Post Building Roof Garden
It's not just little sister to Sky Garden- the Gardens at 120 are a whole new experience in themselves

If you like a super central location with drinks and food handy. Great view of St Paul's but not much else

Priceyyy but gives you a bit of a different view
The Chimney Lift
The absolute OG. You can go to the viewing deck or to one of the restaurants if you like something a bit quieter
The Shard
Bonus that it's open 24hrs and the waffles are actually really nice. If you don't get a reservation you could try sushi samba which is just a few floors below

IFS Cloud Royal Docks
Steep hill but well worth the climb, especially for a stunning sunset. Approach from the Blackheath side if you want the climb to be a bit gentler
