Toys to get the wiggles out
A big budget item but I was honestly surprised how long my kids could play with this set. They’ll slide over and over, climb through the openings, lounge on them, make forts and play pretend, the options are endless. Definitely a bonus how aesthetica...
Soft Block Playset for Kids - Gathre
There are many dupes out there, but the original has lasted us years without sagging or getting lumpy and my kids are ROUGH with it. The covers are easy to wash. Even adults have enjoyed napping on it!

Fisher-Price WonderJump 36-Inch Mini Trampoline
What toddler doesn’t love spinning in a circle? Durable enough to use outdoors but colors will fade in the sun. Also best for smaller/younger kids
Sit And Spin For Kids
I bought it from gathre directly, but now that it’s available at target, definitely a better buy there because of free shipping! It doesn’t get as much play as the block playset, but it is a more affordable option. Still lots of pretend play opportun...
Gathre Rainbow Arc Playset - Millet
Toys to keep their mind and hands busy
Great for sensory seeking and sensory sensitive kids. Portable, squishy AND quiet. A great option for kids who don’t like the sound of magnet tiles or blocks falling
Jelly Blox - Walmart.com
I literally opened these for my kids yesterday and they got SO much use. My youngest decided to carry it around everywhere and would stop and sit randomly to draw and take notes (i.e. scribbles). These tablets are lightweight, easy to use, and an eco...
LCD Writing Tablet
We have both the full size and mini Yoto players. I originally bought the mini for travel, but each of my kids has a preference for one over the other. Combining target discounts and rewards is a great affordable way to try the mini size
Yoto Mini Player & Adventure Jackets
The possibilities are endless with Yoto from stories to music to podcasts to original content, my kids can listen on and off for an entire afternoon and it’s so easy for them to switch between cards and content independently
Yoto USA Homepage - The Screen-Free Audio Platform for Children
Kids ADORE this set. It is always one of the first toys kids play with when we have friends over. Endless possibilities and who doesn’t love following a recipe or coming up with their own ice cream creation.
Melissa & Doug Wooden Scoop and Serve Ice Cream ...
A bucket of cars and this track is all my kids need to keep themselves busy. The sounds are a bit jarring so we often play with the sound off
Fisher-Price Little People Hot Wheels Racing Loops Tower ...
One of my kids doesn’t love our pretend kitchen, but place some food in front of them to “cut” and they’re all in! Putting the pieces back together is just as fun as slicing them
Cutting Food - Wooden Play Food
I am positive you’ve seen this recommended elsewhere, it’s highly recommended for good reason! Kids and parents alike love this functional play set to pretend (or really help with) household chores. Activity idea: ask your child to see how many toys/...

A versatile beginner magnetic car track. Easy to set up and run, my kids love making and rearranging tracks. The cars require AA batteries to run
Magnetic Race Car Track Sets & Expansion Pieces | PicassoTiles
This toy came in handy when I had to juggle a toddler and a newborn. My toddler loved pushing and pulling all the buttons and levers and seeing the cause and effect of each one.
Car Adventure
Order’s up! My kids love pretending to serve all their other little people characters. The songs and sound effects are not too grating or annoying
Fisher-Price Little People Musical Toddler Toy
We have boxes galore from diapers and packages. The process of making the designs is just as fun as the end product. My 2 year old is too young to make a design independently, but can sit for almost a half hour trying to saw/cutt a piece of cardboard...
