Emily Wilde Series by Heather Fawcett

The Cozy Edit profile picture
One of my favorite fantasy reads written by a modern author. Instead of the usual sparkly fairies (which I also love), the fae are depicted in a different light. I also like that this story is set during a time period (the early 1920s) that not many ...

I like that there's a change of setting because it makes you feel as if you're on an adventure yourself. While there are similarities between the first and the second book, there is a lot that is different. I enjoyed this book as well.

*Please note that there is a third and final book that marks the end of the series. I didn't like the third book which is why it's not on this list, but I wanted to point out that there is a third book in case you'd like to finish the series.
