I typically use hydrating toners to support and calm my skin barrier! In the morning, whether you wash your face or not, make sure you at least splash some water so your face is a little damp if you are using hydrating toners.
Note that if you use exfoliating toners (toners with BHA, PHA, AHA, etc.), DO NOT use them on a wet face. In other words, make sure your skin dry after washing!
Lastly, if you like to layer toners or toner pads, make sure you give your skin a few seconds to dry between each toner, ESPECIALLY if you are layering an exfoliating toner with a hydrating one (Note: don't layer multiple exfoliating toners together!...
