every person has a different idea of beauty and different beauty standards. i absolutely do NOT subscribe to a ten step skincare routine (hello, dial hand soap and gold bond body lotion) and i am not the girlypop who has watched countless youtube makeup tutorials. all i know is what i like - and i like things clean, simple and will happily chase the perfect scent.

i remember being newly married, and spending an afternoon together in IKEA, followed by an evening at home putting furniture together. I thought to myself “surely I will never loathe my husband more than i do in this moment”. well, buckle up baby. *cues 26 hour long flight to africa WITH a toddler*

i need it to be chic, to not hurt my shoulder, to carry snacks and a Macbook, to match my outfit and to fit underneath my seat: still looking for the perfect bag, but here is what is inside.

i am a born and raised pacific-northwesterner. these are my tried-and-true, can't-eat-can't-sleep-without-going-here list of my favorite places in the west, most specifically in Portland. it is such a magical place, and there is much to be seen, especially depending on your neighborhood! there is constantly more to add, so stay tuned for updates. and ps - don't listen to the news.
