Our favorite places to see and activities in Florida

Blue Spring State Park in Florida is a fun place to see manatees in the cooler months and go swimming in the warmer months! The water is so clear and an incredible blue green color.

The ORIGINAL Ripley’s museum in the US, this is a neat place to see the weird, wild, and macabre. The building is an old castle made of coquina stone.

The Orlando Titanic Museum is one of several Titanic museums, and each has slightly different displays. We enjoyed seeing the museum and reading the stories of the passengers.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse and museum is a great place to see a historic lighthouse and surrounding property. You can climb the stairs to the top of the lighthouse for an incredible view of the intercoastal waters.

The Bridge of Lions is a historic drawbridge with a walkway and great views leading to the historic district in St. Augustine.

Great place to take photos and walk along the beach, especially at sunrise. You can fish off the pier and watch surfers catching waves.

Great beaches for wading, beach combing, swimming, and surfing.

Vilano Beach

Historic downtown St. Augustine has amazing old buildings to see and plenty of museums and places to tour. It’s so fun to walk on the old brick streets and see coquina walls and buildings.

The Wave Asian Bistro has super fun sushi options, like sushi “pizza”. It’s delicious! This was on our bucket list a couple years ago and we’re so glad we went.
