Where To Stay

We always recommend spending the money to stay on Disney property. The free transportation is a HUGE benefit, plus the extra park hours

This is our favorite resort to stay at when we visit. It has a little nostalgia around every corner for my 00's babies and back. Our favorite part is the extra transportation option – the Gondola. Your always guaranteed a seat and a beautiful view on...

This resort is one of the newest on property and it's so much fun! Disney took a few of their movies and designed a space that makes you feel part of it. Great food court, rooms are all themed and it has access to the Gondola with transportation to H...

In my opinion this is the best breakfast buffet Disney World has to offer. Plus, it's a character dining experience for the kids

We've been frequent flyers here for the German buffet and the musical entertainment. My son loves the chance to get up and dance.
Biergarten Restaurant

'Ohana is a great place for  a character breakfast to see Lilo and Stitch who are a bit tougher to find in the parks. Also…the pineapple bread at breakfast is *chefs kiss*

We love this 50's kitchen themed restaurant where waitstaff know as “Cousin Sally” or “Uncle Joe” will make sure you eat your veggies before dessert. The playful, family friendly banter with them is great!
50's Prime Time Café

If you're looking for American style comfort food in the form of delicious classics and a milkshake to wash it all down this is the perfect stop for you. My order? A mint chocolate chip milkshake and a pulled pork sandwich!
The Plaza Restaurant

You HAVE to get a Dole Whip while in the Magic Kingdom. This frozen pineapple soft serve treat is amazing and even comes in a few forms – floats, pairs with a pineapple upside-down cake and even swirl with another flavor. It is one of our Disney trad...

Transportation

During our stay we take advantage of the Disney transportation but we also need to get to where we're going.

We've flown a lot of airlines and Southwest has continuously been the most reliable and the best experience

This is our go-to transportation between the airport and our resort. The rates are super fair and we've always had a great experience with awesome drivers.

When I am on vacation I don't want to drive. One of the many complementary services provided to resort guests is free transportation form parks to resorts. I'd rather let Disney do the driving and avoid the extra expenses and hassle of dealing with p...

This is another great transportation method around parts of Disney. We love to use it when we go from Chef Mickey's restaurant at the Contemporary resort to the Magic Kingdom. It also has access to a few addiitional Deluxe resports as well as Epcot.

We love the addition of this transportation service. The Skyliner makes stops at 4 resorts (including our favorite, Pop Century) as well as Epcot and Hollywood Studios. This is a great way to get back and forth to the parks because there is no waitin...

What To Pack

We all know you need to bring clothes and a tooth brush, but what about the things that aren't top of mind? This collection will show you some of the lesser remembered items that make a difference on our trips.

I love this crossbody bag as someone that doesn't do well this large bulky backpacks (I leave that for Nine). This fits my phone, ID and credits cards plus allows me to slip in a few other small items like chapstick.

These were great to make sure everyone's Magic Bands stayed in place – especially my 4 year old wearing one for the first time. A little extra security isn't a bad thing at all.

We swear by sunscreen spray. It's so much faster and easier to apply overall. If you're not a big hat person, this is also easier to apply to the scalp. A light mist goes a long way. Plus, the sprays always feel lighter than the lotions.

Bring a variety box of bandages, even if you don't have kids. I think My dad gave my son a run for his money on how many he needed last trip. Also, pro tip...don't put them in a metal case like Welly. It set off security and we ended up having to go ...

We recommend an OFFICIAL Disney parks autograph book if possible. We tried saving a few dollars and getting one off Amazon but the pages fell out and it was a mess. We haven't found anything of equal quality to hold up like the Disney ones.

Don't forget a pen for your book. Fatter pens are always better, especially for the characters with gloves. It is a lot easier for them to hold when signing.

My son was OBSESSED with pressed pennies on our last trip and we ended up filling 3 books. You'll want a place to store these easy-to-lose souvenirs and my son loved adding them to his book to wind down at the end of the day.
