Drive up a gravel road and head down to a gorgeous vineyard with ponds, willows, and walking trails. You’ll go up to a historic house that serves as the tasting room, and you can select from curated wine flights, or order by the glass or the bottle.
D.A. Ranch
After grabbing a glass from the small tasting room, you could wander or settle on the patio. I opted to sit under a pergola with my Kindle and crisp white.
Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery
This winery had two notable features: its apple wine and creekside seating. When you approach the front, the host will ask if you’re there for the wine or the restaurant, and direct you to the appropriate area.
Page Springs Cellars Tasting Room & Bistro
While this isn’t exactly a winery, it is a cidery that serves wine, so we will count it. They offer cider flights and food. You’ll be greeted outside by a very cheerful, very chunky Labrador Retriever.
Witch Creek Tasting House
While this winery had limited grounds, it made up for it with the spacious covered patio and the excellent snack options. You’ll definitely want to order the spinach artichoke dip.
Oak Creek Vineyards & Winery
Cool off and take a break from the dizzying mountains in this chill tasting room. Snag one of the two tables in the corners for the best experience.
Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room

This is literally the best coffee I've ever had in my life. It's hand-pressed and the syrups are homemade.
Desert Grave Espresso
A very Instagrammable and delicious brunch place, with a wide variety of options.
Crema Craft Kitchen
Extremely unassuming with extremely awesome food and margaritas. The food was spicy and authentic!
Tortas de Fuego
So, the coffee sucks. However, the cinnamon rolls are fantastic, and the vibes are cool.

A huge antique store that is a great place to kill a few hours. Look at their vintage jewelry and artwork sections.
J & J Antiques, LLC | Cottonwood AZ
You probably can't afford the kaleidoscopes, but it's still worth the trip to see all the unique items. One of the best art stores I've been to.
Nellie Bly Kaleidoscopes
Aptly named, this store is stocked with local pottery and artwork. Rather than tacky tourist stuff, it has items you would actually buy and use in your home.
Made In Jerome Pottery
This gift shop has some great finds if you're into copper jewelry or outdoor decor. Fair pricing, too, which is surprising for a gift shop.
