Classic and contemporary films that captivate, thrill, and stay with you long after the credits.
A classic, the special effects will be dated now, but the movie never gets old! Lots of fun. Reminder to not take yourself or it too seriously!
Ghostbusters (1984)
You don't want to watch this movie with me as I know most of the words. I thought it was such a fun film. Haven't watched it in a while, needs to move up in the pile.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
I watch it every Christmas. Will Farrell is not usually one of my favourite actors, but he did a reallly good job in this movie capturing the innocence of Buddy the elf and the wonder of New York City!
Elf (2003)
A classic, you can't tell me it's not a Christmas movie! Fun action movie... another annual movie on my playlist.
Die Hard (1988)
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this movie, I wasn't sure what to expect. But it's a fun and emotional movie. Things that we can all relate to or wish we could do before we die. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
The Bucket List (2007)
Another one of my favourites. The classic tale of the “ugly”, smart girl becoming beautiful. Funny moments and enjoyable watching the relationships between the characters. Fun movie all round.
Miss Congeniality (2000)
Binge Brigade
Must-watch series that pull you in, episode by episode, for endless entertainment and drama.
I don't know how I missed this the first time round. But I was hooked and couldn't stop watching it. Love all the strong female leads and the humor. Highly recommend for the ladies out there. Short episodes you just want to keep watching
Younger (TV Series 2015–2021)
My current watch. I like the relationships he forms with his colleagues and his patients. I also like that they are representing autism in a good light with the difficulties and challenges.
The Good Doctor (TV Series 2017–2024)
I have to wait till all episodes come out before I start watching the season! Was a fun show, love that it’s set in the 80’s. No spoilers if you haven’t seen it!
Stranger Things (TV Series 2016–2025)
For all ages, had had criticism by the current generation but it was of its time, and one of the first shows to broach taboo subjects in the 90's. Always a classic, funny and emotional.
Friends (TV Series 1994–2004)
All fun, gossip and drama. What more could you want from a period piece? Did I forget to mention it's a little raunchy too?... definitely more of a girly show!
Watch Bridgerton | Netflix Official Site
DocuDive
Plunge into fascinating real-life stories and eye-opening truths that inspire and inform.
Whales and dolphins are such intelligent creatures and to have them locked up in such tight, cramped spaces when they usually have a whole ocean is heart breaking. All whales and dolphins should be released and allowed to roam free!
Watch Blackfish
A really well made documentary. I was never a huge fan of fish but I stopped eating it after watching this. I had no idea about the slavery in the fishing industry and this just gives you a small glimpse
Watch Seaspiracy | Netflix Official Site
A really good documentary highlighting sustainability and ecology around the world. Highly recommend.
Watch Down to Earth with Zac Efron
This documentary highlights the intelligence and connection from such a tiny creature. It shows that we all share this world with other sentient beings. I thought it was a beautiful story.
Watch My Octopus Teacher | Netflix Official Site
By now I am sure everyone has watched this documentary as it seemed to be a lockdown favourite! Crazy life of a big cat owner. Big cats should def be out in the wild, not privately owned for our entertainment
Watch Tiger King | Netflix Official Site
I was actually quite surprised I liked this. It was an interesting watch about the his life and where he started to where he got to now. Grit and determination
Watch Arnold | Netflix Official Site
Toon Town
Step into a vibrant world of animated magic, where imagination runs wild and stories come alive.
I would imagine by now everyone has seen this movie! The stage version is also amazing. A classic must watch for all the family. Emotional, funny and cute
The Lion King (1994)
Any 80's or 90's kid will tell you this was a great movie. Traumatisingly sad but shows the power of friendship and sticking together. Definitely one of my old time favourites.
The Land Before Time (1988)
I thought this was such a cute movie about a sea monster in an Italian village. Fun for the family
Luca (2021)
I loved this movie. Great for adults and kids alike. Exploring emotions that us as human beings feel everyday and throughout our life time. Also I love how it shows that they are all linked and have a part to play.
