The Jigsaw Den

These past few years, I have found a new love of doing jigsaw puzzles - I find it to be a surprisingly chill activity and it really helps me to relax and just sit down and focus on a puzzle, and nothing else. It's my perfect wind down activity after my kiddos go to bed (and a nice little glass of Pinot Grigio pairs well with that also 😏). Here are a few of my favorite ones that I have done this past year. (Note - Ravensburger is my favorite brand, but I do touch on some other brands as well). Also, I don't currently have anything to recommend that's over 1,000 pieces, simply because I just don't have the space for it, so I have not done those :(

Sometimes a glass of really good wine makes all the difference after a tough day (within reason of course!). As I'm in Canada, most of my favorites are more of the local wines here in my region (mainly Pinot Grigio or Gris, with some Rose/White Zinfandel mixed in). Unfortunately, I'm NOT a red wine fan, so I'm not able to truly recommend any good reds I'm afraid! But I will include a few other wines from other areas as well, that I have tried and liked. All my wine recs here are affordable wines (on average, under $15/bottle) and taste great (in my opinion) for the price. I've also included a section for some cool wine accessories/gift ideas for you or the other wine lovers in your life also :)

I've been getting back into reading these past few years, after a very long hiatus. Here are some of the best reads I've had during this time of rediscovering books :) My absolute favorite genre is mystery/suspense, but I like a good romance as well, with a sprinkle of non-fiction, here and there :) I hope you'll find some books of interest here in this list, and I will keep adding to this as I go! (Being a mom, I'm also going to throw in some kids/preteen books that my kids have given thumbs up for also!👍)
