My Must-Have Laundry Powders
I personally recommend laundry powders over liquids for multiple reasons.
The first reason is its long shelf. If stored properly, laundry powders can go a long way versus liquids that typically have a shorter shelf life being around a little less than a year. Not to mention, a little goes a long way for detergents, with each load needing mayhaps a teaspoon or two depending on your laundry load.
The second reason I recommend laundry powders is that they are more ideal for stain removal. I find the grit of laundry powder provides that extra stain fighting power that rivals that in liquids. Granted, you have to use hot water for laundry powders to be effective, so using powders may work best if you're washing white clothing and towels/linens.
And finally, third, I just feel like you get way more for your buck versus liquid laundry detergents. I notice laundry powders just last longer for me, especially when I combine all of the items I listed to make what I call a quick mix - an all-in-one mix that boosts, fights stains, and odor removes guaranteed in every wash. People will try to say that liquids make less mess than powders, but I digress!
I hope you definitely give this list a shot, as it's helped me carry my household through the everyday routines of life.
