Desert Botanical Garden
This is a beautiful garden to check out with the waterfall, koi fish, and the scenery. My wife and I enjoy coming here.
Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix
This shopping mall is bustling and is in Scottsdale. I like to come and get my exercise in.. it's so big and one of the only malls left in the valley.
Scottsdale Fashion Square
The other shopping center this time in the west valley. It's bustling and growing with new additions coming soon.
Arrowhead Towne Center
I went here as a young child and I always go here for fun and excitement when I can with all the kiddos!
Phoenix Zoo
This is on the west side but it's a big zoo and a lot of exhibits. You'll enjoy this zoo.
Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park
I saw this lake being filled with water and would always drive across Mill Avenue on my way to ASU! You won't be disappointed - there's always the Dragon Boat Festival. You can run and enjoy the scene. Light Rail takes you there if I'm not mistaken.
Tempe Town Lake | City of Tempe, AZ
I come here when I can with my wife and friends. Great atmosphere and restaurant to dine at even though it may be crowded at times.
Postino
If you like Chinese food, here's a great place to eat. I've been here for banquets and dining for lunch and dinner.
China Chili
Great food and very cool atmosphere and enjoy sitting outside with family and friends and eating some pie!
Oregano's
Enjoy the nice quiet park.
Thunderbird Conservation Park
Great place to explore a park in the middle of Glendale and you wouldn't even know it's here.
Sahuaro Ranch Park
The best place to hike and watch a sunrise or sunset in my opinion.
South Mountain Park and Preserve
Another favorite hiking spot.
Camelback Mountain
I came here as a little kid wanting to be a firefighter. It's definitely a Hall of Flame (lots of antique fire trucks). You won't be disappointed if you like history.
Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting - Phoenix, Arizona
Learning Science in a fun, innovative, and interactive way is exciting. I like going here.

Known for the Asian District in Mesa - it's like Chinatown on the East side.
Mekong Plaza
I always remember looking at this castle and wanting to go inside for a tour. It finally opened to the public a while ago.
Tovrea Castle at Carraro Heights
This is for all music lovers. You can see so many different instruments covering all cultural backgrounds.
Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Phoenix, AZ
I enjoy coming here to eat brunch with friends after church. Good food and company.
The Place
I highly recommend coming here to enjoy an inexpensive train ride. It's perfect for a date, family gatherings - or any time you need to escape to the park.

I remember coming to Encanto Park's Enchanted Island when I was younger. I enjoyed the train ride and gondola ride, too.
