very gradual story but overall amazing, healing, opposites attract and set in england, such a vibe.

read in my graduate program and wrote a paper about it, heartbreaking and raw - about grooming so beware of triggers.
My Dark Vanessa
if you liked daisy jones and the six, you'll like this book - I think I may like it better. intense story about personal traumas and ice skating. a 2025 read that was top tier!

first ali hazelwood book, read within a day. a bit cheesy at times but I love nerds!!!

LOVED this book - easy read, it was simple yet had enough depth to keep you going.
Every Summer After
first Abby book and it won't be my last - I love they can be read as stand alones. the romance, trauma, and healing in this story is just amazing.

cute read - based in NYC which I loved the vibe of!! not too cheesy.
Passion Project
part of a series but it could def be stand alone. I have read 3 of 4 books in the series - this is the best one. princess diaries vibes but adult and spicy.
Twisted Games
people hate on these books - i really enjoyed. I went in with a mindset of quick hallmark movie and it met that experction - don't expect some phenomenal deep story, it is a cute and easy palette cleanser.

this is a wild ride. an ex therapist who practices unethically gets really wrapped into this couple's life… a fave of 2025.
Golden Couple
holly did so good with this - I was impressed with her YA novels, and now i need more adult from her.

my top fantasy choices! I haven't read much fantasy tbh, but have plenty on my shelves and on my goodreads tbr. I have to read them in bite sized amounts or I burn myself out.
I am basic for this and IDC!!! if you are new to fantasy/romantasy,this is a great series. you learn everything with the main character.
A Court of Thorns and Roses Series
surprised I like this as much as I did, a beautiful read. nice if you aren't too educated on greek mythology.
Circe
this book can be confusing if you don't pay attention - it is a good fantasy - you will not find romance very much in this book besides a slow burn between the two books in the series at the moment.
Ninth House
second book to ninth house - a wild ride overall, romance starts to come out a tiny bit in this one but can't wait for the third book!
Hell Bent

I used to be a classics hater, and while some are still very boring these ones left an impact on me!
my favortie classic book - I first read as an adult. The underlying themes are amazing and the story is so good.
Frankenstein
loved the underlying themes as well just a bit slow, and felt there were quite a few filler chapters that didn't really add to characters or the story, but overall i enjoyed.
The Picture of Dorian Gray
a book I read in high school - a classic, and amazing story, read if you havent.
Fahrenheit 451
another high school read - dystopian and left an impression on me to this day.

Hands down fave book of all time - first read in early teens, and have read as an adult, 10/10. I will never forget this read!!!
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
read this series as a teen and adult, it is phenomenal. Fantasy series.
The Infernal Devices Series
this wqas a good series, the first one will just always be my favorite. I read as an adult and fully enjoyed.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
another I read as an adult and it suprised me! I loved it and need to read the rest of the series.

read as an adult, wish I had read as teen. great story, read trigger warnings beforehand!
It's Kind of a Funny Story
first in the series, but these books got me through middle school. I love them. vampires, werewolves, witches - all the good stuff.

sad I didnt read this sooner - it was an amazing memoir, I enjoy reading about cultural experiences.

another I read for sociology class - will make you so angry but very eye opening. sensitive topics, read triggers.

yet another sociology read - beautiful memoir about living in poverty and losing men in her life.
