Unpopular opinion but we don’t have a rest day. We don’t do Disney often so we go hard when we go. The last 2 trips we’ve done, we’ve park hopped over to Magic Kingdom on our Hollywood and Animal Kingdom days. It gives us the chance to do the parade, shows, and rides with low wait times. We are able to do this because our kids are not old enough for or interested in some of the bigger and popular rides at AK and HS such as Star Wars, Avatar, TOT, and others. One day they will be and we will do it differently but for now, this is what works for us!
