Sets
If you’re just starting out, I recommend starting with a set! It’ll come with a whisk, a whisk holder, a bowl to whisk the matcha in, and a scoop!
1. Use the scoop to scoop the matcha into your bowl (use a sifter - check the other sections for some ...

Whisk
For investing in some higher quality whisks! I recommend using wooden ones, as even though it’s more difficult to bloom (in hot water, opening up the whisk and unfurling its prongs), it creates a better texture than a silicone one.
TRUST ME… Sifting your matcha will lead to a clump free matcha to sip on! I recommend one that’s small enough to use over your matcha bowl, but able to be propped over your bowl so you don’t have to hold it while you sift the powder in.

Frother
Who needs a frother for their matcha?
1. LAZY GIRLS: If you’re too lazy to buy an entire set and whisk every time you want a matcha, use a frother instead! It’ll give you a clump free matcha without the hassle!
2. CREAMY MATCHA GIRLS: Use a frother...

Milks
If you want to change the flavor profile of your matcha without having to make or buy syrups, CHANGE THE MILK! Here are some popular options:
Whole milk is my personal fav for matcha, since it’s neutral enough so the matcha has a blank canvas to work with, but also creamy to enhance it!
Cons: Don’t use if intolerant or if it tastes like cow to you
Great Value Whole Vitamin D Milk, Gallon, Plastic, Jug, 128 fl oz
Oat milk is a good alternative milk to use since its sweetness goes well with the taste of the matcha! THIS BRAND in particular is a fan favorite!

Soy milk, especially sweetened, complements matcha really well! The only con is that it can sometimes overpower the taste. Use if you really like matcha + want to get your plant protein in!
Silk Original Soy Milk - 0.5gal
I’ve personally never tried, but this is a VERY popular alternative to drink with matcha. A bit more on the expensive side, but I’ve heard its nuttiness complements the sweetness of matcha and gives it a more complex depth!
