Romantasy
For those who love magic and romance side by side in the same story. My absolute favorite genre
Magic, dragons, and a war college! Say less! Not suitable for children due to spicy scenes and depictions of unaliving— lots of unaliving.
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, Paperback
If you read the first one of course you need to follow up with this one after that last minute revelation. If you haven't read the first one, what are you doing with your life? Go read it now!
Iron Flame (Standard Edition) - Yarros
Once again, Yarros left us hanging at the end of book 2 so you will need this one to find out what happens next. There will be a total of 5 books in this series so... get ready for another giant cliffhanger.
Onyx Storm (Wing and Claw Collection)
This is the book that got me back into reading. The first book is a bit slow but so necessary to get to the rest of this story.
This book contains:
Enemies to Lovers
Fae
Magic
Mystery
Curses
A Court of Thorns and Roses (Book 1)
So much banter. Love this book so much! This is the book that will live in your head forever.
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
The saga continues! This is when it all goes down. This is the final book in the original story line and when it all comes to fruition. Don't stop here though! There is more.
A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns 3)
This is after the main story line and switched to new main characters. I hope you liked Nesta because this is her book. I hated her but I still loved this book.
A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses 5)
So many secrets! Who can you trust? Also I want a treehouse now.
You will find:
Enemies to lovers
Arranged marriage
Secrets
Monsters
Slow Burn
Magic
Shield of Sparrows
I got to know this author via Tiktok a couple years ago. This is the perfect cozy RomCom style romance with a Guardian Angel and forbidden romance.
Had Me at Halo by Nicholas F Williams
Do I own two copies of this one? Yes, yes I do. Did it absolutely destroy me? That is also a yes. The original version of this was the best written fanfic or even book I have ever read and this rewrite does not disappoint. Beware, this one is dark. S...
Alchemised
Louve's writing is seriously a masterpiece.
This contains:
Dragons
Enemies to Lovers
Shadow Daddy
Shadow Mommy
Magic
Battles
Political intrigue
AWAKENING of the Starborne Game
Not many books have twists I didn't expect, this one did. Don't get me wrong, there were some I expected but others blindsided me! It was such a good read!
The Half King (Deluxe Limited Edition)
This series has me staying up way to late every night trying to read as much of it as I can. I haven't had a book do that to me in a really long time.
The Wolf King: Enemies-to-Lovers Werewolf Romance
This is the much anticipated second book in the Shield of Sparrows series. This ending is going to make you yearn for the next book!
Rites of the Starling: Slow-Burn Romantasy
I can't wait for book two to be released!
Arvelle never wanted to step back into the deadly competitions in the sands where her best friend lost her life. Her brother's terminal illness makes her desperate for a healer, so she makes a bonded deal wi...
We Who Will Die: Epic Romantasy of Love
Multiple stories of different character's threshing day experiences! This one is all the hype right now. No Fourth Wing fan should skip it.
Threshing Day (Wing and Claw Collection) (The Empyrean) by Rebecca Yarros (Hardback)
LitRPG
For people who love stories of everyday people becoming heros and surviving through a new unexpected world.
I am absolutely obsessed with this entire series! Carl has to survive in a deadly dungeon that serves as a reality TV show for aliens. His partner in the dungeon is none other than Princess Donut, his ex girlfriend's spoiled show cat who has been gra...
Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
Carl and Princess Donut continue to battle through the levels of the dungeon making friends along the way.
This Inevitable Ruin (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
I'm still working my way through this series but I already know that I love all of it.
The Butcher's Masquerade (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
Donut Holes! When you read this series, you are joining a chaotic fandom that will chant One of us! One of us!
Carl's Doomsday Scenario (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
This series is utterly chaotic. I love it so much! Talking cats, explosions, dinosaurs, talking adult doll heads. You never know what Carl and Princess Donut will encounter next.
Carl's Doomsday Scenario (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
New achievement! You have stumbled upon book 2! Reward: Hours of entertainment.
The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook
If you've made it to this book, you already know what to expect. Well, not exactly because it's always so off the wall crazy but you know what I mean.
The Eye of the Bedlam Bride (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
More of Princess Donut and Carl! This one is full of giant gods wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting NPCs in the dungeon crawl. You will want a dirty Shirley by the end of this one.
The Gate of the Feral Gods (Dungeon Crawler Carl)
