I used to use Duolingo in high school. It's decent for giving you a starting place, but the sentences you learn don't really make any sense when you think about it. Like, why would you say "I am an apple"

This is a great Spanish-English/English-Spanish dictionary available online and in an app! It also shows how to conjugate the verb in every tense, which is helpful as Spanish has so many different tenses.

I briefly used this in high school, it was fun, but I don't think Asian languages are my cup of tea per se. The app itself is great, though!

When I took Spanish in middle school, my teacher would play Sr Wooly videos for us. His songs are often goofy, but they're catchy and they make learning Spanish easier and more fun. I still remember and think about some of the songs that we watched.

While I haven't used this specific resource, I do trust it. I used BBC Mundo (BBC World in Spanish) when I was in high school to help learn vocabulary and current events. We often had assignments to do research using BBC Mundo.
