In a dorm, you don’t have a pantry! This is how i personally made my own pantry/food prep/coffee area. You don’t have much space!
Using these as a pantry in the room with the mini fridge or trash can underneath is a great way to utilize space! I’ve done this every year since I was a freshman (I’m a junior now).
