Getting around
We recommend to drive if you are experienced in driving in snowy conditions. Campervan is great (and believe it or not - warm!) option for a more budget friendly trip during peak season in Lapland. Alternatively check out the buses.

Lapland is a dream for nature lovers and families. Think husky rides, reindeer safaris, meeting Santa, and lots of other ourdoor activities.

One of the highlights of our trip that we 100% recommend for all animal lovers - Visit a reindeer ranch, learn about these beautiful animals and handfeed them lichen.

If we had to pick only one place to go cross-country skiing in Lapland, it would be Saariselkä. Beautiful tracks and not as crowded as Levi. Perfect place to learn.

While not the biggest fans of Santa Claus Village, we did enjoy Snowman World inside Santa Claus Village. It's a fun place to spend time with kids! Buy tickets in advance to skip the often very long line.
