I've started and abandoned about nine wellness routines. The ones that stuck all had the same thing in common: they take under five minutes and they don't require me to feel motivated. So this list is split by when I actually use things — morning, ev...

Morning, Evening & When I'm Run Down
Every note is tagged MORNING, EVENING or RUN DOWN so you can skip to the part you need. Start with the morning three if you're building from scratch.
MORNING. Swapped my second coffee for this and the 3pm crash disappeared. Ceremonial grade actually matters — the cheap culinary stuff tastes like grass and you'll quit. Whisk it properly or it clumps and you'll hate it.
Jade Leaf Ceremonial Grade Matcha
MORNING. The sip-or-straw lid is the whole reason I actually drink water now — no unscrewing a cap one-handed in the car. Miami heat means I refill this three times a day. Boring, unglamorous, works.
Owala FreeSip Water Bottle
MORNING. The delayed-release capsule means I can take it without food and not feel sick, which is why I've stuck with it. Mint tab in the bottle so it doesn't smell like fish oil. They publish where every ingredient comes from.
Ritual Essential for Women 18+
MORNING. Unflavoured, so it disappears into coffee or a smoothie — that's the only reason I remember it. Honest note: I can't prove what it does for skin, but my nails stopped splitting and that I did notice.
Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
EVENING. The single biggest change to how I sleep. Start at half a scoop — a full one on night one and you will regret it, your gut needs to adjust. The drink itself became the signal that the day is over, which matters more than the magnesium.
Natural Vitality CALM Magnesium
EVENING. This is the one that got my phone off the nightstand, which did more for my sleep than any supplement. Sunrise wake-up is genuinely gentler than an alarm. Pricey, and the good sounds need the subscription — worth knowing before you buy.
Hatch Restore Sunrise Alarm
RUN DOWN. For the days Miami heat wins, or after a flight, or the morning after. Very salty — that's the point, not a flaw, but dilute it more than the packet says the first time. One of these does more than three glasses of water.
LMNT Electrolyte Drink Mix
RUN DOWN. Get the Mini, not the full size — the big one lives in a cupboard and never comes out, this fits in a bag and actually gets used. Five minutes on my shoulders after a day at a laptop is the whole use case.
Theragun Mini
RUN DOWN. The cheapest thing on this entire list and the one I'd give up last. Twenty minutes after a long week and my legs stop aching. Nothing fancy — the drugstore bag works exactly as well as the boutique versions.
Dr Teal's Lavender Epsom Salt
EVENING. Wear it to sleep, not to obsess. The readiness score told me what I already suspected — late dinners and wine wreck my sleep. Honest warning: there's a monthly subscription on top of the ring, which annoys me.
Oura Ring
MORNING. Ten minutes of stretching, not a full practice — that's the version that stuck. This mat is heavy and expensive and will outlive every cheap one you'd buy instead. Leave it unrolled where you'll trip over it.
Manduka PRO Yoga Mat
EVENING. Oat flower and lavender, no caffeine. Honestly the ritual does more than the herbs — boiling the kettle is what tells my brain the day is closed. Pairs with the magnesium; I have both while my phone charges in the other room.
Pukka Night Time Herbal Tea
MORNING. Two capsules before food. Expensive for a probiotic and I went back and forth on including it — but it's the one that survived travel and time zones without upsetting my stomach. The refill jar is glass, which I appreciate.
Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic
MORNING. One pound each, worn on a walk — that's it, that's the workout on days I won't do more. They look good enough to leave on the console table, which is genuinely why they get used instead of living in a drawer.
