About 50min from Lausanne. Need to reserve as they get packed at lunchtime (reserve on the terrace). Up in the mountains. Restaurant with a stunning view of the lake and some really nice hiking options!

Not far from Lausanne. Stunning place to grab a drink and an “assiette de charcuterie” with friends. It's recently gotten quite busy so expect a wait on popular days/times or make a res.

This castle is a really fun visit. Easy drive from Lausanne or public transportation works too. The castle used to keep prisoners in the basement, which is actually a bit under the level of the lake which apparently made for a terrifying experience
