We do a lot of eating when we're here and these are some of the top places we go every single time.
Open from 6 to 3, this brunch friendly cafe is a great way to start off any day. I personally like the breakfast croissant with the best bacon I have ever had.

About 10 minutes up I-5 is a tiny town called Rogue River and we never, ever miss a chance to eat at Bee Gees! Their cinnamon rolls are iconicly huge. I persoanlly love their pancakes and french toast and they have pretty good lunch specials too :) A...

Abby's is a chain but its pretty good! HIGHLY recommend getting some Spuds - fried potato slices - to go with it because they are so good and fluffy inside.

This place is a little out of the way and easy to miss. But trust, put it in your GPS. I'm a sucker for pizza and pasta and family joints where the views are just as good. Their pizza is so good but their pasta is equally as delicious! Go for the bak...

There are so many restaurants to chose from but this is one of my favorites. the enchiladas are delicious and the portions, huge

A little more on the non-traditional side of classics (sorry picky eaters) but they are good! Brunch, lunch, and dinner, and their specialty are sammies!
Agora Artisan Eatery
If you're looking for more of a bistro style resturant, the Twisted Cork offers meals with local ingredients. They are a little more pricey but you sit amongst downtown GP

We thrive off pizza ANYWHERE we go. Catalyst has a food truck and permanent location. I personally like their Escape From NY pizza - so good! There are so many options to chose from and different than regular pizza toppings.

Every town has an ice cream place that people love, Udders is that. I don't really love their gelato but they have good ice cream after a day in the sun!

The caves are a great way to check out the rocks and what is hiding amongst the mountains of southern oregon.

Get out and get some fresh air on a rafting trip! The best part is you don't have to be an expert. Just bring a hat, sunscreen, and clothes you don't mind to get wet!

I have never been to a horse race before this and I actually enjoyed it! It's no Kentucky Derby, but it is a great time to spend with the family and (possibly) win some bets :)
Horse Racing - Grants Pass Downs
If mysteries are right up your alley, the House of Mystery in Gold Hill is a fun place to check out. It is pretty minimal (not a TON to do) but it is relatively interesting

If you're looking to escape concrete honking horns, Griffin park is a secluded park right on the Rogue River that has camping, boat ramps, and plenty of grass and trees!

We did a FREE tour (yes they are free!) and got to see how their dairy cows create a local version of bleu cheese. An interesting and fun way to expereince locality.
