if you're a young girl with a mother, this movie is for you because that relationship is always so messy and complicated and lady bird displays this so beautifully and relatably

i only watched this movie recently but i think it has fundamentally changed me as a person. the visuals are stunning, the emotional connection between grace and rocky was beautiful and the display of raw humanity was absolutely gutting.
